Kyiv / detailing studio

Paint protection, prescribed not packaged

Twelve clear coat depth readings, a gloss figure per panel and a defect map decide the treatment. The session ends with a written condition report and a priced plan, whether or not you book the work.

02 / Measurement

Figures we record before anyone touches the paint

12
Clear coat depth points Micrometre readings at twelve fixed positions per vehicle, mapped into one defect plan.
6/12/24
Maintenance intervals, months Programs are matched to a service rhythm rather than a single visit.
18-22°C
Indoor controlled bay Filtered air, fixed lighting and stable temperature for coating cure and inspection.
1
Written service record Readings, products used and the next due date, issued after every visit to the studio.

02 / Assessment protocol

Three measurements before any product is named

Every vehicle enters the studio the same way: mapped, measured, documented. Paint condition, not a package name, decides what we recommend.

  1. 01

    Panel map

Each panel is photographed and mapped on its own, marking existing scratches, stone chips, earlier repair areas and respray lines. That map stays the reference for the whole job.

    45 min · 18–24 panels

  2. 02

    Clear coat readings

An ultrasonic gauge records clear coat depth in microns at twelve fixed points per vehicle, including edges and known repair zones. Readings are logged so later services compare against the same points.

    12 points · µm logged

  3. 03

    Written report and itemised quote

You receive the panel map, the readings table, gloss values and a treatment plan with a line-by-line quote for corrective detailing, ceramic coating or paint protection film. There is no obligation to proceed.

    Same day · PDF copy

The report and treatment plan are issued whether or not you book the work. Book a condition assessment or read the published price ranges.

03

Program comparison

Programs are not packages. Clear coat depth at twelve points, gloss units and the defect map decide which of corrective detailing, ceramic coating or paint protection film your car actually needs.

Published ranges for Kyiv. Final scope is confirmed in writing after the condition assessment.
Program What it changes Price range (UAH) Time in studio Maintenance Scope limit
Corrective detailing Removes swirls, light scratches and oxidation; restores measured gloss. 8,000 – 22,000 1–2 days Every 6 months No layer added. Clear coat depth is finite.
Ceramic coating Correction plus a bonded layer that holds gloss and eases washing. 15,000 – 45,000 2–4 days Every 12 months Reduces, does not prevent, scratches and chips.
Paint protection film Correction plus a self-healing film on the exposed panels. 25,000 – 120,000 5–10 days Every 24 months Coverage varies with vehicle size and panel count.

Protective layers reduce cleaning effort and help retain gloss. They do not make a vehicle impervious to scratches, chips or other damage. See full price ranges and maintenance terms, or book a condition assessment.

05 / Evidence

One panel, measured twice

Same lamp, same lens, same angle. Clear coat depth is read at twelve points and gloss is metered before the first pass and after the final wipe-down, so the change is a number and not a mood.

A protective layer reduces cleaning effort and helps hold that gloss reading for longer. It does not make paint immune to chips or scratches. See which program fits your readings.

03 / Maintenance

Maintenance intervals, published in full

Every program carries the same four checkpoints, whether we prescribe corrective detailing, ceramic coating or paint protection film. The schedule below is the contract, not an upselling cue. Missing a checkpoint shortens the working life of the layer.

Checkpoints counted from the handover date
Interval What is measured What we do
0months Clear coat depth at twelve points, gloss units, defect map Handover report, first-wash guidance, next checkpoint booked
6months Gloss units, water behaviour, film edges and panel gaps Neutral wash, decontamination if readings drift, sealant top-up
12months Full re-scan of coat depth, swirl map under inspection light Light machine refinement where defects reappear, coating refresh
24months Layer thickness, adhesion checks, comparison against baseline Re-coating decision with costs stated before any work starts

Protective layers reduce cleaning effort and help retain gloss. They do not make a vehicle impervious to scratches, chips or other damage from road use and washing.
